China or display cabinet in figured satinwood
A most unusual china or display cabinet having a central door flanked by canted glazed side panels and containing glass shelving and overhead internal lighting. The cabinet stands on a base with a single drawer and shelf, all raised on square tapering legs. Veneered in figured satinwood having inlays and stringing in rosewood. Incorporating oval marquetry inlays in the form of Grecian urns, displayed in exotic woods. The glazing bars are flat and inlaid with rosewood, the whole surmounted by a shaped cornice with decorative inlays featuring five urn finials.
