A large burl walnut partner's desk lined with a mellowed chestnut hide and traditional gold leaf tooling. The pedestals have canted corners and fluted pilasters emphasizing the ogee acanthus leaf carvings. Double bead mouldings and Regency brass hardware are applied to drawers, end panels and doors, accentuating the highly figured veneers.
