Large Board Room table in cherry cross banded in burl elm
A partner's library writing table of oval form having four drawers, supported on tapering reeded legs standing proud of the carcase in the Gillows style. Veneered in satinwood with ebony stringing and constrating amboyna wood inlays to the tops of the legs. The cross banded top is lined in black first quality hide, tooled and gilt by hand.
